The Ladner family resided in the parishes of Gulval, Madron, Paul, Penzance, Sancreed and St Buryan.

This is the report on what happened to our dear Percy Ladner. from Mousehoe, after serving in WW1, on demobilisation he expected to be reappointed to his former job on the Cable staff - but he was told that he would be called upon as soon as sufficient work was in hand.

Ladner - Chirgwin connection

At the age of 17, Lionel W. Ladner wrote one of the essays honouring five men who were granted Freedom of the Borough of Penzance on 19th April 1932 in  St John’s Hall, Penzance. Lionel was the son of James Frederick Ladner and Susan Bodinar Humphrys from Mousehole. We've some information on the ceremony which he attended.
